This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Newcomer students need tailored support to thrive in their first year in a new country. This iPad will serve as both a teaching tool and a student lifeline, helping me reach my ELD learners more effectively and giving them meaningful access to language, literacy, and connection.
To further support my instruction, I’m also requesting a portable Bluetooth speaker to ensure all students can hear the language clearly during listening activities and interactive lessons.
I will use these tools for projecting vocabulary and videos to support understanding, conducting informal assessments and giving instant feedback, and creating engaging multimedia lessons tailored to each student’s needs.
These tools will allow me, their teacher, to create a more dynamic, inclusive, and effective learning environment. Your support will help my ELD students unlock their voices and take their first steps toward fluency, confidence, and belonging.
