My Students

My students are always excited and eager to learn new things. Our classroom consists of a diverse group of students with varying disabilities including ADHD, specific learning disabilities, behavior difficulties, and cognitive delays. I have an inquisitive group of students, who are always eager to work with technology.

They attend a Title I school where they all qualify for free breakfast and lunch.

My students and families have been trying their absolute best to continue learning at home, but they need materials to support their learning while developing reading and math skills.

It’s so important we continue to address their needs while they are not in the classroom.

My Project

COVID-19 has caused my students to have a wide range of learning gaps. This year, there is a major focus on helping students make gains in literacy and math. Help Teaching offers Test Room, an online assessment platform designed for teachers, parents, tutors, and trainers; free test maker, make your own multiple-choice tests and quizzes - printable and online versions.

Help Teaching will allow me to monitor my students' reading and math progress, identify gaps in their learning, and target my instruction to best help them move towards mastery based on their literacy and math goals.

Not only would my students be given access to ongoing skill-based assessments, but they will also gain experience using the technology that is now part of our everyday lives.

These resources will allow me to differentiate instruction for each student and to help meet some of their current IEP goals. Please help me to support my students as I monitor their progress and proficiency in literacy and math.
