Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My 3rd- 5th grade elementary students are thriving with in person art instruction. My students are a diverse group, they are a mix of general education students, special education students and English Language Learners. In addition to learning about different mediums, mentor artists and art history, my students enjoy reading diverse books about a variety of artists and engaging in STEAM activities. My students are eager to learn and I enjoy teaching, mentoring and shaping the minds of tomorrow's leaders.
In the new year, students will be creating Chinese Dragons, Lanterns and Fireworks while learning about and to celebrate the Chinese New Year, this ink will allow them to all print their final work!
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
