My Project
My gardeners are so excited about planting our raised beds, creating compost and cultivating flowers at our school, but as we attract more green thumbs, we need more tools to put in their hands.
The first sprouts are ready to put in the ground, and our teams are just waiting for enough shovels to get the job done.
We also found out that good tools make for good gardens, so I'm looking to add some hoes to keep spaces clear between plants.
Their excitement of getting outside and enjoying nature and each other is just amazing to see, especially when we encounter the wildlife: snakes, bees, birds, and butterflies, as well as those pesky rabbits. The garden has become a refuge for my regulars.
