Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are overachievers whose love for learning and technology is on display in the classroom daily. My students are innovative problem solvers with a passion for learning and push themselves to achieve at their highest level both athletically and academically.
My students are the quintessential collaborators and real world problem solvers of their generation.
They love to be challenged beyond their disabilities and look at adversity as a way of growing both mentally and academically. My students' will to find a way to succeed is inspiring and contagious. Daily, they motivate me to try harder, work longer, and persevere in spite of the obstacles that teaching and living in an inner city location presents.
My Project
Teaching 3rd grade is an ever-changing adventure. My students come to me from varied backgrounds of academics. In order to reach every students full potential, I must differentiate my instruction and offer them a multitude of resources that will catch and ignite their interest in learning.
Using differentiated learning centers will give the students the opportunity to explore, grow, and achieve at high academic levels in all content ares.
My students will have access to online math games through the three Fire tablets and, present their learning to their classmates through the requested gaming projector. The students will also present their learning through microphones of the karaoke machine to their classmates, parents, and teachers.
The requested math, science, reading, and social studies games will give each student their own way of participating in, as well as the depth at which they participate in the learning process of each individual content area.
More than half of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
