My students need 2 iPads with cases because the self-contained special Ed class I teach contains 4 different levels, and iPads will allow me to set up stations to keep my students engaged.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
It has been a tough year for my students. I took over halfway through and have dedicated myself to giving my students everything they could need. It's an uphill battle every day but we do our best.
I was so nervous about taking over a class halfway through the year.
I was warned that I was taking over a tough class. I went and interviewed my students and was blown away by their desire to learn. I have students whose only goal is to learn how to read. Other students love math. Daily they ask me for more work and try their very hardest when everything around them could push them down.
My Project
I have several different ability levels in my classroom. It is hard to run 4 math groups between myself and one aide. My students need 2 iPads with cases because the iPads will allow me to set up stations to keep my students engaged. I hope to use these materials to engage my students during time when other groups are being instructed. I want to also use the materials during independent station time to have more interactive activities.
This project will greatly benefit my classroom.
It will keep my class running more smoothly and give me access to programs that will help engage my students and allow them to reach their goals.
