My Students
My third graders are energetic, creative, kind, gentle, compassionate scholars. They are enthusiastic learners that are always ready to lend a hand. They also practice and live the 7 Habits.
My kiddos love hands-on lessons and enjoy working collaboratively with others.
They get very excited about reading interesting stories and enjoy sharing that new knowledge with one another. Everything they learn in our class has a purpose and will assist them in being life-long scholars. My students practice resolving conflicts by using their heart. They practice seeking first to understand then to be understood. They also understand that these skills will help them be successful in their future careers and build long lasting relationships.
I am so lucky to have them as my students this year. These kind, hard- working, enthusiastic learners are our future.
My Project
My students understand that we are all different and that is what makes us special. There is so much we can learn from one another. As a team, we can and will accomplish so much more. Since we are all so different, our learning style also differs as well. My kiddos would benefit from alternative seating so they can be more comfortable and be able to focus better. The classroom chairs are just not the right fit for some of my more wiggly students.
My students would also benefit from Chromebooks because it allows them access a variety of computer programs that easily differentiates their reading levels and math levels.
The Chromebooks will also allow them to do research on topics that they're interested in. Not only will they expand their own knowledge, they'll lead their own learning, and be able to share newfound information with others.
