My Students
My students are an at risk group of 1st graders whom some have not been in a classroom since early 2020 due to Covid 19. For others, this is their first year of experiencing the in-person classroom experience. Although the students have had many obstacles of learning, they continue to prove everyday to be resilient and determined! The students learn very fast and are soaking up knowledge daily like a sponge!
Someone once said, "The quality of physical learning environment goes hand and hand with academic performance".
Our class is self contained and the students are with me the majority of the day. The students are learning to read and write. They are very curious and eager to learn. The students love to draw and play outside.
My Project
Cricut can be such a helpful tool in many situations in the classroom. The machine can cut many things quickly, the plan it to use the machine to create inspirational boards, bulletin boards, seasonal decorations and more! The cricut will help make the room a print friendly environment.
The cricut will also help organize the classrom by allowing me to create supply labels, decals, and stickers.
The uses are limitless including but not limted to: creating paper based prjojects, charts, cutomizable documents for the students, name tags and name plates, games, signs for the wall, charts, letters and numbers.
