Differentiating One Tablet at a Time!

My students need tablets in the chemistry classroom for differentiated instruction and stations!

My Students

My students are world changers! They are from all different backgrounds and all have different goals for their lives. Some of my students want to become geologists, biologists, and even petroleum engineers. They strive for excellence and are excited to learn how to live more environmentally friendly. This year will be full of opportunities for them to explore this aspect of their life. My students have bigger dreams for the world than I ever thought possible. Most of them are in multiple AP and dual credit courses to help them get a head start in college. If anyone can make a change in this world, it's these students.

My Project

Students need access to technology on a daily basis. With some students not having cell phones or access to a computer, review games, accessing online resources, and even checking their grades becomes more difficult. I am asking for six tablets, six cases, a charging station, and six devices to secure the tablets to a table in the room to prevent them from walking off. With these tablets, I will be able to differentiate learning on a daily basis using technology instead of pen and paper.

Students love using technology to learn and there are so many great resources to help struggling learners use technology to help them better understand.

Having access to tablets daily will also allow students to use them as a resource to access the web for research when they do not have access to their phone or do not have a phone.
