Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I work with a large population of diverse students with a variety of needs. Our school is located in the heart of downtown Phoenix with a high population of low income families. Our school has a 98% free and reduced lunch population.
My goal is to reach all types of learners through an enriched classroom providing support to all students.
I love teaching these students and want to provide the most enriched classroom to help our current and future leaders.
My Project
These balance ball seats and wobble stabilizers will provide differentiated seats for students with needs. These seats take away the needs for student to fidget and allows them to focus on their studies.
This project will provide special education students and ESL with an alternative seating to assist with focus, attention deficit and concentration.
My students need the opportunity to use an alternative mode of distraction to help them in their writing. This will provide them a method to deal with distractions within the classroom. I look forward to a wonderful year with my students. I look forward to sharing it with you!!
