My Project
I teach gifted education in Kanawha County, West Virginia. I have 53 students that come from eleven different elementary schools. Differentiated seating, also known as flexible seating, is a classroom arrangement that provides students with a variety of seating options.
The goal is to keep students engaged and focused by allowing them to move around and change positions.
I am writing this project for four beanbag chairs. Beanbag chairs are a budget-friendly option that can be easily moved around the classroom. They have wipeable material and will be easier to keep clean than a fabric chair. My students will love the option of being able to move from a chair to a beanbag chair.
