Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love my kinder students because they are full of potential, creativity, and curiosity. Despite the challenges many face at home, they come to school eager to learn and grow. Their unique experiences and backgrounds make each one special, and I feel honored to be part of their early learning journey.
This TeachersPayTeachers gift card will help me purchase Total Math program for grades 1-2, which is a research-backed program that includes 180 highly-engaging math lessons loaded with interactive slides, 740 aligned math stations, hands-on games, fluency slides, journals, warm-ups, reflections, assessments, and is aligned to standards.
Differentiated math resources are key to helping them succeed. These resources will be tailored to meet the individual needs of each student—whether it’s through hands-on activities for those who need more support or more challenging tasks for advanced learners. Research shows that differentiated instruction enhances engagement and academic achievement, especially for students from low-income backgrounds. It provides opportunities for every child to work at their own pace, building confidence and ensuring a solid foundation in math for future success.
