it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Contribute to building a differentiated classroom library for a new dual language program. At our school, we have created a new program that grants students the opportunity to be fully bilingual and have literacy skills in both English and Spanish. We are currently in need of a new class library with English books in order to provide students with an opportunity to keep reinforcing their language acquisition skills and increase their vocabulary. Students will be empowered by this library, not only as readers but as students who are immigrants and will benefit from more opportunities to learn the language.
