This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students love to learn! As a special educator, it is so important for the students in my classroom to have choice. Choice in the activities they do, and choice in how they do them. My students' academic performance would greatly benefit by having flexible seating to help them focus on their work. They would also benefit from color visuals to help them which is why our class would benefit from a color printer. Special education students rely heavily on visuals, and having visuals that can represent real life images will be the most supportive in the classroom.
