Different Instruction for Different Students

My students need a copy machine to have the opportunity to practice their skills and be exposed to different types of information.

I have been teaching the most amazing third and fourth grade students in an impoverished part of Chicago for six years. Everyday, my students come in ready to actively be engaged in the learning process. Their enthusiasm for education inspires me everyday to be the best teacher I can be.

In the last year, our school's extremely old photocopy machines broke down. There is only one copy machine left and it sits in our school's office, unable to be used by the teachers. Our school has no money in the budget to buy a new machine. All extra practice I want to give to my students has to be made by hand. There are so many wonderful resources for my students to see and use to grow to their full potential. Without an opportunity to copy extra practice or interesting current events that I see on the Internet, they are lacking an essential academic experience.

I am asking for a small photocopy machine and ink to be used by the various staff members at my school. This contribution will be used by the hardest working teachers in Chicago, who are always looking out for the best interest of their students.

Your help would mean so much to the students at our school. Their dedication to school is what keeps me motivated everyday to meet their needs.
