Did You Hear That? Headphones Needed for Computer Science Education

My Project

As a Business & Technology teacher, I teach Fundamentals of Computing, an introductory computer science course, to high school students in Upstate, South Carolina. My class offers self-paced lessons, interactive activities, and whole-group instruction to help introduce basic coding and computer science topics. My class fulfills the computer science requirement for graduation and includes students of all abilities, grade levels, and interests.

Students must have headphones to complete classroom assignments, and it's time for an upgrade!

Over the past few years, I have been providing students with their own pair of earbuds at the beginning of each semester. Unfortunately, these tend to break, stop working, and go missing, resulting in the need to replace them often. These new headphones and holders would allow each computer to have its own permanent sound source while eliminating the need for large quantities of disposable earbuds.
