Did My Heart Love Till Now?

Help me give my students a classroom set of A Pho Love Story. Ninth graders historically read Romeo and Juliet and this book will allow me to offer a culturally responsive story that is similar.

My Project

Please help me give my students a culturally responsive tale of Romeo and Juliet. They will read Romeo and Juliet alongside A Pho Love Story in order to compare and contrast. These books will promote literacy by offering inclusive titles for students to develop critical thinking skills. They will learn to be gold miners as they search for literary gold within these novels.

This book will improve results with reading growth, reading engagement, critical thinking, social-emotional skills, speaking skills, and writing.

These novels will help my students think critically about relationships and literature. I am certain this book will become the first favorite for students.
