This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I work in a Title I school that is 100% free and reduced breakfast and lunch. This being said my students are not always here to learn but to have a place that provides to their needs and is safe.

The students are hardworking and willing to go the extra mile.

I have some students that are Second Language Learners, special education and some that need extra support with behaviors. Every student in my class deserves the right to the best education that can be provided no matter their situation or where they come from.

My Project

These materials will make a significant difference in my classroom by giving each child a chance to learn at their own pace. Each child has programs that they are working on that are their own level and by giving them each a pair of headphones they will be able to hear and focus on what they are learning on.

The Ozobots are a great STEM activity that begins the introduction to coding where they are starting to problem solve and complete different challenges.

Students are excited to have Ozobots in the classroom because they are fun and they don't realize that they are doing critical thinking.
