My Project
Second grade is such an amazing grade level. The students have just learned how to read and write. They are at a crucial point in their learning journey.
The goal of second grade is to move from “learning to read” to “reading to learn”.
Being able to learn from what you read and comprehend the information is a vital skill for students. We want to build the largest vocabulary we can for these second graders so that when they move on to more challenging grades, they can read and understand what the words in their textbooks mean.
It’s also vital for their writing skills. We want to give students a wide vocabulary from which they can express themselves. Please help our students grow with these dictionaries.
