Help me give my students the best experience growing plants. Kindergarten students are learning about living and nonliving things, what living things need, and the care we can give them to help them develop.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This project would be special for my students because each one will have the experience of having their own plant. For several months we have been talking about living things and what they need to live. Sowing a seed of a plant and personalizing this plant, each student will have the opportunity to see from the beginning the process that their plant will have with the respective care given to it.
Students will have the opportunity to see carefully the seed that will be used, how to plant it, and the respective care from the beginning.
They will also understand in a clearer way the importance of each element that will help it grow. During the development of the plant, we will review the importance of plants in our daily environment.
