Help me give my students a variety of reading materials such as individual magnetic whiteboards, magnetic letters, reading games, books, post-it notes for marking ideas in novels, extension cords for plugging in devices to read aloud books.
Our classroom is full of eager, bright students with a strong desire to learn. However, many of them face challenges in developing essential reading skills, which are critical for their academic success and lifelong learning. Many of our students come from under-resourced communities with limited access to books and literacy materials. As a result, they struggle with reading fluency, comprehension, and confidence. By providing engaging literacy games and reading intervention tools (whiteboards, post-it notes, magnetic letter tiles), we can bridge this gap and help our students develop the skills they need to excel in school and beyond.
