This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
With the start of a brand new school year, I've noticed that my students are incredibly shy and struggle to speak or interact with their peers. However, when including games in our lessons, I've seen their enthusiasm shine and have seen amazing collaboration in teaching each other how the games work and solving them. In order to assist them in developing their speaking and problem solving skills, I want to include more games in our classroom.
Through board games, my students can develop their social, speaking, problem solving and collaboration skills.
They can find a game in common that they enjoy and thus make new friendships. In addition, these games can build a positive classroom culture.
