This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach a self contain elementary life skills class. Our students have various diagnosis ranging from intellectual disability to autism spectrum. And all of our students have delays in their social skills.
By providing our classroom with this doll house our students can learn specific skills they can use in the real world.
Our students need the opportunity to role play in their education setting to gain confidence and experience when they are away from school. This project will be a step forward in that process and our students will be so excited to see this doll house in their classroom!
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
