My Students
My first grade classroom is filled with fun first graders! They have so much fun learning as readers, writers, and explorers. Each day, my students grow academically, socially, and emotionally. They are excited to learn new things that will help prepare them for the world.
They are proud to be a part of the classroom community, and they are beginning to appreciate the diversity in their classroom community.
In the midst of unique personalities and needs, my students are learning how to support one another.

Just like my students, I love to learn! I learn so much from them, and they inspire me to become a better teacher.
In spite of the fast-paced environment and endless demands in the classroom, I still take the time to make sure that I grow as an educator.
These professional texts will equip me with research-based and up to date strategies that will help me deliver literacy instruction effectively. I've selected resources that will specifically equip me to meet the unique academic needs of my students who are struggling in Reading and Writing. With these resources, I will adopt new approaches to teaching!
