My Project
The objective of this project is to enhance our school's SEL program by providing students with craft supplies and materials to engage in hands-on activities that promote emotional intelligence, self-awareness, and empathy. By incorporating creative expression into our SEL curriculum, we aim to foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
I believe that by engaging students in craft projects, they will have the opportunity to explore their emotions, develop coping strategies, and build meaningful connections with their peers.
These activities will also allow teachers to facilitate discussions and reflections on important topics related to empathy, kindness, and emotional well-being.
This project directly benefits our students by providing them with a creative outlet to express their emotions and develop important SEL skills. Through craft projects, students will have the opportunity to:
• Enhance self-awareness and emotional regulation
• Develop empathy and understanding towards others
• Strengthen problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Foster positive relationships and teamwork
• Build resilience and coping strategies
By engaging in these activities, students will not only improve their emotional well-being but also develop skills that will positively impact their academic performance and future success.
