This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I’m excited to expand our outdoor learning environment with new, engaging centers that spark curiosity and creativity. By adding hands-on stations—like a gardening nook, a cozy “camping” spot, a bubble machine, an outdoor play kitchen, and a wireless outdoor speaker—we’ll give students plenty of opportunities to explore real-world concepts, practice imaginative play, and strengthen both academic and social-emotional skills in a fun, safe space. In addition, durable outdoor rugs will help define each learning area, guide our daily routines, and give the students their own special spot to discover and grow.

These resources will spark creativity, encourage imaginative play, and deepen their understanding of the natural world—all while fostering teamwork, communication, and hands-on exploration.

They will enrich our Creative Curriculum and create an inviting outdoor classroom where students can learn, pretend, and thrive.
