My Project
When working with Pre-K students, hands-on manipulatives can be incredibly helpful for teaching foundational concepts. That’s why I want to provide them with a variety of colorful and textured items to engage my students in activities that develop their imagination and also their oral language by playing and sharing with their partners.
Colorful manipulatives capture children's attention and make learning feel like play.
When children are more engaged, they are more likely to retain information and actively participate in lessons.
Manipulatives provide opportunities for tactile experiences, helping children connect abstract concepts to concrete objects. This hands-on approach is essential in developing fine motor skills, spatial awareness, and problem-solving abilities.
