My Project
The children in my room love to learn with hands-on activities and exploring through play. With these great resources my students will have the opportunity for learning which will improves their cognitive understanding of the subject materials and social skills. This type of learning will let the students' minds grow and learn based on the experiences and the environment they are exposed to. The benefits from experience-based learning include fostering creativity, innovation, and engagement. By experimenting and exploring, learners can develop unique ideas and experiences.
The hands-on approach allows children to learn by doing along with allowing them to explore and understand new concepts in a more meaningful way.
Touching, feeling and working with things by manipulating them are important to a child with a kinesthetic learning style. Hands-on learning stimulates growth of the brain, encourages multi-tasking through, and improve fine motor skills. Many of my students are also visual learners and and these items will developing good thinking skills and make learning fun for them!
