My Project

Third graders are wonderful explorers and learners! They learn about honesty and integrity and whether it is worth it to be honest and kind. The books, A Thousand No's and In Our Garden is part of a special new unit I'd like to incorporate to help students learn to be honest, to put forth their best effort, and most of all to be accepting and loving of all learners in our class. The white boards are needed for quick assessment, and practice in legible handwriting as well as developing their cursive skills. The privacy shields help develop good test-taking and focus skills that third graders need lots of practice on. Their "office" is the place where they can show their own work and growth. The art boards are for a special painting project that goes along with our study of weather and climate.

My goal is to enable all my students to increase in confidence showing their growth and capability of doing the work.

I plan on providing thoughtful lessons that meet the needs of increasingly diverse learners. The best part of working with eight year olds, is that they LOVE school!
