Developing a Well Rounded Curriculum

My Project

My students attend an elementary school in the hills of Richmond, California. My class is very diverse academically, socially, and economically. My students come to school eager to learn. Our school has a strong sense of community. "It takes a village to raise a child!"

Our class needs more art materials and pe equipment in order to have a well-rounded curriculum.

With enough art materials, students will have a chance to express themselves artistically. Students will be able to create beautiful art projects on canvas, watercolor projects, and many more. Also, to plan a well-rounded curriculum, students will have quality equipment so they are able to experience partner activities working on fine motor and gross motor activities with balls, Chinese jump ropes, and velcro tossing circles for pair activities.
