My students need materials for hands on learning opportunities to foster a love and understanding of science. We need knee simple machines, knee forces, energy and motion and more.

My Students
My classroom is filled with a very diverse group of learners. Students in my classroom community bring a variety of cultures, languages, learning styles, physical abilities, home life situations and ability levels.
My classroom is filled with beautiful diversity as well as challenging differences.
One notion that I always share with my students is "How boring our world would be if everyone was the same." I am seeking an opportunity to foster scientific thinkers. Thus, adding to the diversity of thinkers in our classroom. Students will be able to apply this thinking to real world problems.
My Project
When students are provided opportunities to explore and discover through hands on science, not only do they have a high level of interest, but learning becomes more meaningful. Inquiry lessons allow students to pose questions and problems and learn through investigations. The materials for this project support STEM (science, technology, engineering and math).
The science materials for this project will enable students to experience project based learning and gain an understanding of the content as well as apply knowledge and understanding to real world problems.
Fostering a love of science not only prepares students for college and career readiness but also to be high level thinking citizens.
