My Project
I am requesting air purifying indoor plants to create a welcoming environment for my students and community members. We will incorporate monitoring the plants across content: we can measure and chart the plants growth in math, take notes on the plants health during science and can use the plants as subjects during art. Students will also learn to care for the plants developing responsibility and taking pride in our space.
Growing and caring for plants teaches students responsibility and develops feeling of pride and ownership of the classroom environment!
Students always love the classroom job of botanist. Together we will care for the plants and watch them grow.
