Detectives in Debate: Unleashing Minds Through Mystery and Mock Trials

My Project

In our mock trial, students will delve into the world of 'Twelve Angry Men,' a timeless play that explores themes of justice, bias, and decision-making. They will assume roles as jurors, dissecting the evidence and arguments with a critical eye. To complement this, we plan to use the game Clue to host murder mystery activities, further honing their deductive reasoning and problem-solving skills. These activities are educational and incredibly engaging, fostering a love for learning and debate. To cap off our project, students will apply their newfound skills in a creative mock trial based on the world of Spongebob, bringing together fun and education in a unique courtroom experience.
