This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The garden club students have been working hard to create a beautiful garden space. We have 3 large oak trees providing shade space. We hope all students will enjoy the benches when they need a break.
Teachers and mental health support staff can bring students out to enjoy the garden and improve mental health for all.
We want to create an inviting area for time to allow nature to lower blood pressure, lower stress in general, and a space for students to bond and create friendships and great school memories.
