My Students

“Let your light shine!” This is something I always tell my students whenever they feel like school is challenging.

I have an amazing group of students.

They are active, creative, and intelligent. My students keep up with current events and the latest songs on Kidz Bop. They write poems for contests and create songs to help them remember what we are learning in class.

I want my students to “let their light shine” so they themselves recognize how smart they are and to show the world how smart they are!

My Project

The various transitions of this past school year were challenging for many students. I would like to create an environment where learning continues to happen regardless if we are at school or virtual. These resources will provide an opportunity for the students to retain the information needed in math and reading. Building on prior knowledge so they can become stronger readers. I want to help the students feel more confident in their number sense, place value, and regrouping with addition/subtraction. We are creating learning experiences the students will always remember. We are solidifying the foundations of our learning so we can be comfortable with the challenges that lay ahead. The materials will help fill in the gaps from this past year and a half to move forward successfully!
