My Students
Our old rug accommodated our previously small class of 20 kids. Now we have 28 and we've had to tape together 2 old rugs that have suffered all the germs and other yucky realities that are part of life for little ones. We badly need to replace it. Please help!
We are a California elementary school with a passion for kids and their learning.
We have not been exempt from budget crunches that cause us to scramble for basics. So, it is not surprising that our school hasn't been able to find the money to purchase new rugs that accommodate our larger classes and the need to keep our classroom environment clean and beautiful.
My Project
I estimate that the 2 rugs (taped together) that I have in my classroom now are about 6 years old. The school shampoos the carpets annually, but the years of wear on this important learning space for my primary age students are very evident. A fresh new carpet that is large enough for my class would be so wonderful!
