This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
When I was younger computers were just starting to come out. We had to learn about them at a later age. Now, these kids have that chance that I as a child never had. That is to learn about technology at an early age. I would love to be able to give them an opportunity to learn about technology.
I work in a Title 3 school in New York City.
A Title 3 school is a low poverty inner city school. My class is a melting pot of students from all over the world. They are predominately Hispanic. They are well behaved students who are as sweet as can be!
My Project
My students are not able to learn about technology in their homes. At least I can be able to give them an opportunity to learn about it in school. This tablet will help me work independently with each student and give them that one to one attention that they need to learn. These children will be able to go on the web and learn about all of the websites that are available to them. They need to learn this information so they will be able to succeed in our society. My students need a form of Technology in the classroom to enhance their knowledge for the future. I am requesting 1 16GB tablet for my class in order to bring technology to life in my classroom.
Please support my project.
My students deserve to have the same opportunities as other students who live in wealthy areas. Please help me give these children the knowledge to be able to grow and understand the world that we live in. We need your help. Let's place a smile on my students faces so it can brighten up all of our days. Thank You and have an amazing day.
