Desk Pets with Personality: Incentives that Spark Joy!

Help me give my students items to enhance our classroom's desk pet store.

My Project

In our classroom, we’ve created a fun and positive behavior system centered around "desk pets"—tiny animal figurines that students can earn and care for. These little pets help students build responsibility, practice kindness, and stay motivated throughout the day. Now, we're ready to grow our desk pet store with even more variety!

I’m asking for small resin animals and fun accessories like beds, food bowls, and tiny toys to help our classroom pet store thrive.

Students earn these items through good behavior, completing work, and showing leadership. The excitement they feel when “shopping” for a new pet or accessory makes this incentive system truly magical.

Many of my students come from low-income households, and small gestures like this go a long way in building confidence and encouraging strong habits. With your support, we can continue creating a joyful classroom culture where effort is celebrated and every child feels proud.
