My Students
I am a first-grade teacher in Massachusetts. My first-grade inclusion students come to school eager to learn but are facing many challenges both at home and in school. Despite their challenges, these children come to school everyday with smiles on their faces, eager to learn!
Five of my twenty students have IEPs, many of them come in to school lacking basic resources, & all of my students receive a reduced-price lunch.
These students are amazing young individuals and hard workers. Their energy and love of learning surprises me everyday! My classroom supplies are limited and many teachers in our school require funding for basic tools to support our teaching and their learning. We so desperately need basic supplies to help our kids succeed. Please consider funding our project to help out some great kids.
My Project
Our 100+ year old classroom is lacking the space to share mathematical strategies, learn letter formation, and create sentences. If we were to obtain this dry erase board it would change our whole classroom community for the better!
Students would be able to view lesson ideas and strategies on a bigger board, and the board would allow more space for many students to display their thoughts and ideas!
Students will no longer have to see work erased faster because we would have much more space than previously had. Plus, students would have the ability to share their ideas more than one student at a time! We all know that kids love to share and have their ideas up for everyone to see! With this dry erase board, we can make that happen in my class!
