This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are creative, hands-on learners who thrive when given opportunities to express themselves through design and crafts. In our design crafts class, we explore various techniques—from paper art and mixed media to upcycled materials and cultural designs. Unfortunately, our supply budget is limited, and we often run out of essential materials like markers, glue, scissors, and specialty paper. With your support, we can give students the tools they need to bring their ideas to life, build confidence, and develop real-world problem-solving and design skills. There is nothing more beautiful than seeing a student's eyes light up when they are encouraged to become creative.
