My Project
The specific items in this project—storage containers and 3D printing filament—will directly support student learning through better organization and increased opportunities for hands-on design. My Technology Student Association (TSA) students are constantly working on complex, multi-step projects that require care, time, and materials. Without proper storage, they risk losing or damaging parts of their work, which can be frustrating and set them back. These storage bins will allow students to safely store tools, materials, and project components between meetings and classes. Being organized will help them stay focused and productive as they move through the engineering design process.
The 3D printer filament will provide students with the materials needed to prototype, test, and improve their original product designs.
TSA competitions often require innovation and precision. Having access to high-quality filament means students can experiment, learn from failures, and make revisions—skills that are essential in both engineering and real-world problem-solving.
My goal is to support student growth in STEM by giving them the tools they need to take ownership of their learning, work collaboratively, and build confidence in their ability to solve real challenges through design and innovation.
