This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

When students have good oral hygiene, they experience fewer distractions from toothaches, avoid absences due to dental issues, and feel more confident interacting with others. Clean, healthy smiles can lead to stronger participation, better focus, and a more positive self-image—all of which support academic success.

My goal is to empower my students with both the supplies and the knowledge to take care of their teeth every day.

These small items can have a big impact, and your support helps us build strong habits now that will last a lifetime.

My amazing 5th grade students are curious, kind, and eager to learn—but many face challenges accessing basic dental hygiene supplies. By providing toothbrushes, toothpaste, floss, and educational materials, this project will teach lifelong habits and give each child the tools they need to stay healthy and focused.
