Dental Assisting Students Saving Lives

My Project

I teach high school students to become Dental Assistants. My students are interested in a career in the dental healthcare field. They get to spend time in real dental offices, caring for real patients.

High school is a great time to find out if students will enjoy the career they are interested in without spending a lot of time and money in college.

In addition to learning dental assisting, my students will become CPR certified, a requirement to work in a dental office. The infant bag valve masks that we are requesting will help students learn how to perform infant CPR in an emergency without having to use mouth to mouth.
