Democracy in the Library

Help me give my students engaging books and materials to promote learning about elections.

My Project

This is an election year like no other and my students are going to need credible information. Understanding how elections work is crucial for them to become informed citizens and future voters.

We need comprehensive books that focus on the US presidency, election history, electoral college, political parties and voting.

By reading about these important topics, students can develop their own understanding of the importance of civic participation and an appreciation for our democratic process. Books provide a comprehensive and structured way for students to learn about the complexities of elections and historical events that have shaped the current electoral landscape. The books and posters included in this project will help my students develop critical thinking skills, analyze different perspectives and form their own opinions on political issues.

Overall, these materials will be valuable educational tools that empower our students to become active participants in shaping the future of this country.
