My Students
Students in my class are engaged, curious, empathetic, and creative. I am the 3rd-grade teacher at a K-5 Elementary School in San Francisco, California. My students are joyful learners in this urban setting, and everyone brings something unique to the classroom community. We have a diverse range of languages, socioeconomic status, religions, ethnicities, and races. With your support, students can access education in a more rigorous, dynamic, and contemporary way.
Curious, enthusiastic, and creative, my students are eager to immerse themselves in any challenge and learning opportunity.

My Project
The school year is in full force, back to in-person learning, and we just passed our 100th day of school! With state and local budget cuts and limited classroom funding, their teacher has gone throughout the school year without a functional desk. The current desk that is being used is a small table with wobbly legs and limited surface area. With your contribution the teacher will have a desk that allows her to utilize the document camera, and conference with students. The desk will support classroom organization and will be used for many years to come.
