Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Learning on an empty stomach can be uncomfortable and negatively impact our ability to focus, retain information, and engage with the material. Ideally, students show up to class with proper nutrition and rest but as teachers we know this may not be the case for most of our classes.
Having snacks available in the classroom allows students to focus, process, and engage with the learning.
Not to mention, students appreciate having the option to have a quick snack before lunch when they are getting restless.
The goal for this project is to provide students snacks that encourage them to learn and focus.
