My Project

Essay writing can be boring and mundane, especially in middle school. These books have 30+ examples of essays that can be used for students to gauge interest in writing. Each essay is written by a young adult author, many that we read in class!

Authors like Alan Gratz and Rita Williams-Garcia, which are popular with middle schoolers, have created captivating writing samples to inspire and motivate students to write their own essays.

They are funny, smart, and inspiring, which will resonate with 7th graders. Please consider helping us have a class set of "Breakfast on Mars" to use throughout the school year when we write a variety of essays.
