My Project
Many of my students are coming from low income families that face the daily struggle of figuring out where the next meal is coming from. Poverty is a significant driver of poor learning outcomes, with many families unable to purchase or access the food their children need to reach their full educational potential. A snack here and there throughout the day can help ease the embarrassing annoyance of hunger. It can also help build strong personal relationships while helping students be able to focus on their academic growth.
Please consider helping me to provide simple, nutritious snacks for my students so can focus on learning & becoming amazing people without the painful distraction of hunger.
