My Students

We have large class sizes with students of varying backgrounds and learning styles at our school. Despite our differences, our students recognize each other's strengths and diversity.

Our students love coming to school and learning, especially when they get to collaborate on STEM tasks.

They are bright, curious, inquisitive learners who enjoy solving real world problems and authentic learning. Our goal is for all students to be outstanding wise learners for life. This isn't just a goal teachers have set. It is part of our school culture. It is who we are and what we do.

My Project

My students need Chromebooks and novels so they can read great literature and then share those stories and their love of reading with others. Our titles include Ghost, Strange Case of Origami Yoda, The Wednesday Wars and The Lions of Little Rock.

We are passionate about reading and want to share these great books with others!

As students read their books, they will create a website with elements of plot and characterization from the novel they are reading. Next, they will design a 3D artifact from the novel. They will also learn 21st-century skills like critical thinking, as they design their artifacts. These artifacts and websites will be showcased in our school library where students can share their love of reading and creativity with other students at our school.
