Deepening Our Understanding Through Doing: Pretend Play and Books
Help me give my students a deeper look into our units about dinosaurs, exercise, bread/baking, and buildings through pretend play toys and tools, books about each topic, and activities for us to liven up our recess times!

My Project
We are a classroom of 3- to 5-year-old students and have an emphasis on being an inclusive setting for students with developmental delays, students with disabilities, and those who are developing typically. Our units for the remainder of the year are construction/buildings, baking/bread study, exercise/healthy living, and dinosaurs to close out the year!
We learn best in our room through action and activity.
We would love to be able to use these pretend play tools in dramatic play and for modeling. The books will deepen our understanding of each topic, and the active items will keep us moving and doing while we learn.
We are looking to encourage and awaken future paleontologists, bakers, trainers, and healthy/inquisitive adults through this early learning and exploration!
